I hope you are all doing epic and well.
This is a group-outreach ANNOUNCEMENT and informative bulletin in regards to recent submission mishaps within the group.
Recently we have had over 80+ submissions that although beautifully crafted, were determined to not be acceptable for the group gallery due to the artwork/photos not being related in ANY way to the group's subject matter, maxim and supporting theme-works.
We spent over an hour going back through 60+ pages of submissions made in the past 4 months to assess the issue after discovering it, along with the many complaints from members.
The protruding issue has been attended to and the deviants/owners of said unrelated works have been contacted, and the pieces are in the process of being removed from the groups gallery.
We Apologize for any disturbance, miscommunication or confusion this may have caused to all members.
We do not want any of our members or watchers being inconvenienced or displeased with being SPAMMED with anything other than what they would expect from our group. We would like to keep this group as smooth-running and as free from incident as possible, so that the clear goal of the group and its culture can be delved into and experienced by all of every background and creed.
To prevent any further mishaps such as this to occur again in the future there have been some changes and guidelines set-up to hep out any and all members to understand the submission rules and process.
There is now a limit of 3 submissions per member a day. This is to cut back on spam and the overflowing of member and watcher mailboxes. For now this rule is temporary and will be assessed/ revised in the month.
Effective starting MAY 23rd, all submissions will be REVIEWED before being accepted into the 'featured' Gallery. Again this is prevent another mishap like the current one from occurring again. Many members look to this group as inspiration and experience. It is an inconvenience and stifle to be run-over with pictures that are unrelated in no way to the group.
SUBMISSION MUST BE CLUB-RELATED. no ifs, ands, or buts,
*Whether it be artwork, literature, photographs, crafts etc. , all pieces must have some CLEAR, VISIBLE or PRESENT-AESTHETIC connection to the style, culture, music and Genre of the Kandi/Rave lifestyle & culture.
I can understand if you have a piece that was created with the inspiration of one or more of these factors, but if it is determined to not be related, It will be DENIED. you may contest to the Admin if you feel differently. That is your right.
NO RANDOM NON-RELATED SELF-SHOTS.
This DOES NOT mean pictures of yourself are banned.
However we do ask that should you submit a picture of yourself or others, that they be in some way modeling Kandi wear or some sort of Rave-Wear for the sake of keeping up with underlying/supporting themes, and once again: cutting down on SPAM and non-related submissions. Keep in mind this is a GROUP with a specific mission, and it and 'DA', ARE NOT MYSPACE™ or FACEBOOK™.
Please save these random photos for that, they DO NOT BELONG HERE.
ANY of these random non-related-determined "flashbomb" photos will be DENIED.

ADMIN OPEN ENROLLMENT
Now that the main issue had been attended to, I would like to announce that starting MAY 5th, I will be opening the acceptance for applications for ADMIN.
If you are interested in becoming part of the administration as an ADMIN/ MODERATOR, please leave a short comment below.
